PK Day 2026
Saturday, September 19, 2026 | 4:30 PM
Kentucky Church of God State Campgrounds
Being a Preacher’s Kid is a unique experience! PKs get a front-row seat to the joys of ministry, but they also understand some of the sacrifices and challenges that come with being part of a ministry family. PK Day is a special evening created just for them!
We’re inviting children and students through age 18 whose parent serves as an active staff member of a local church to join us for an evening of worship, connection, food, and fun with other PKs from across Kentucky.
The evening will begin at 4:30 PM in the Tabernacle at the Kentucky Church of God State Campgrounds with a special time of worship and encouragement. Students will then enjoy ice cream with Administrative Bishop David Jarvis before heading together to a Lexington Legends baseball game!
PKs Attend FREE!
There is no cost for eligible children and students to participate. Each registered PK will receive:
Admission to PK Day and the Lexington Legends game
A free PK Day cap
Ice cream at the Campgrounds
A $10 gift card to use at the stadium
Adult chaperone tickets for the baseball game are $10 each.
Each student must attend with a parent or appropriate adult chaperone, and families/churches are responsible for transportation to and from the ballpark.
Registration Deadline: September 3
Space and game tickets require advance registration, so make sure your PK is registered by September 3.
We want our Preacher’s Kids to know that they are seen, appreciated, and an important part of our Kentucky Church of God family. We can’t wait to spend this special evening celebrating our PKs!

Help up purchase 350 new mattresses and 130 bunk bed frames!
Many of the beds in our camp dorms have served faithfully for many years. While we are grateful for their longevity, time and use have taken their toll. Currently, 130 bunk bed frames are in poor condition and are due for replacement. In addition, we are working to replace 350 aging mattresses to ensure that every camper has a clean, supportive place to sleep.
To address this need, we are launching a special fundraising effort called “Goodnight KYC.” This campaign is focused on improving our dorm accommodations so that when the lights go out at camp, our students can rest well – physically, emotionally, and spiritually. Comfortable rest plays a vital role in helping campers be fully engaged in all that God is doing during their time at camp. And a comfortable mattress keeps dorm leaders refreshed!
We invite your church, Sunday school class, youth group, or congregation to partner with us in this important project. There are several ways to participate:
Sponsor an 8-inch thick, waterproof mattress for $170
Sponsor a bunk bed frame for $155
Sponsor one full unit (2 mattresses and 1 bunk bed frame) for $495
Some groups may like to take on a larger portion of the project by sponsoring a complete dorm room. A boys’ dorm room consists of 5 units and a girls’ dorm room consists of 6 units.
Groups may choose to sponsor a full dorm room, a single unit, or give any amount toward the overall need. Every gift helps move us closer to providing safe, comfortable rest for our campers and staff.
